Collaborate with Colleagues at CREC’s Summer Institutes and Workshops

Collaborate with Colleagues at CREC’s Summer Institutes and Workshops

(Hartford, CT) While summer is a time for educators to recharge, it is also an opportunity for them to further their learning and acquire new tools that will help them improve their schools.

This summer, educators can turn to CREC for advice, innovative ideas, and an opportunity to collaborate with colleagues. During CREC’s many summer institutes and workshops, participants will discuss some of education’s hottest topics—from how to teach writing to how to interpret student data and how to use mindfulness in the classroom.

Participants will learn from education experts as they look to deepen their understanding, knowledge, and skills. CREC staff members from CREC Data Analysis Research and Technology, CREC Student Services, CREC Technical Assistance and Brokering Services, and CREC’s Institute of Teaching and Learning will lead the programs, sharing their insight and years of experience and encouraging discussion and creative thinking.

“CREC’s summer institutes and workshops provide a chance for educators to work together to tackle many of today’s greatest educational challenges,” said Ellen Retelle, director of CREC’s Institute of Teaching and Learning. “It is a chance to collaborate and an opportunity to innovate, keeping the best interests of our children and their families in mind.”

CREC’s summer institutes and workshops are for teachers, education leaders, and other education professionals who work in public, private, charter, or international schools. For more information about the institutes and workshops that will be offered this summer, and to register, visit
